Thanks to this company more and more passengers know what to do if they experience a flight delay, they find out that their flight was cancelled or they get denied boarding due to overbooking. It is quite common that air passenger wonder if AirHelp is not a scam, we can assure you that this flight claim company is legit and works under EU Regulation EC 261.

Thus AirHelp made an analysis which is based on the statistical data of delayed, cancelled or overbooked flights during the period 2018 June 15 – 2018 September 15. These selected flights had more than 3-hour delay. According to AirHelp evaluation, most flights are to be delayed, cancelled or overbooked in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Barcelona and Amsterdam.

Take a look at the picture which is created as helpful visual expression and you may check what chance you would experience a flight delay, cancellation or denied boarding in your summer holiday. There is quite a clear tendency that flights in southern Europe are more disrupted during summer.

However, there is no need to worry, if your flight is delayed, cancelled or overbooked, you have the right to receive up to 600 euro flight compensation. Flight delay should be for more than 3 hours in order to be entitled to compensation. If the airline informed you about the cancelled flight less than 14 days before departure, you might receive flight cancellation compensation.
