AirHelp conducted analysis with the help of Twitter of best worldwide airports ranking 2018. Each airport is compared using three different criteria to draw a full picture how these airports perform. Airports are compared by statistics on the quality of service, on-time performance, and the passenger experience.

AirHelp is flight compensation company which conducts analysis of best worldwide airports ranking several years in a row. AirHelp seeks to spread information about Air Passenger Rights as much as possible in order travellers knew what actions should they take in the event of flight delay, cancellation or denied boarding. AirHelp conducts even more surveys and similar kind of analysis which are related to travel.

What concerns this best worldwide airports ranking 2018, there are 141 airports ranked in the analysis. It’s amazing to find 2 airports from Europe in the Top 5 of the AirHelp airport ranking. Athens International Airport (ATH) in Athens, Greece, is scored 9.3 for on-time performance, 8.6 for the quality of service, and, sadly, quite low score of 6.4 is for passenger experience. However, the second place in the ranking for ATH is granted.

What is more, Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha, Qatar, overtook Athens and reached the first place in AirHelp airport ranking. The third place was granted for Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo, Japan, with average score of 8.63. Furthermore, the second european airport in Top 5 of the ranking stands in fourth place, it is Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) in Cologne/Bonn, Germany, with the score of 9.5 for on-time performance, 7.8 for the quality of service and 8.2 passenger experience.

Finally, the fifth place in AirHelp airport ranking is granted for Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) in Singapore.This airport average score is 8.48 and the best score of three criteria was reached for the quality of service (9.2). Thus airports have place to improve and let’s hope next year passenger experience scores will be much higher. This is a perfect analysis for travellers who are planning their journeys and have several choices of airports. AirHelp did a good job.
