Is it worth visiting Gozo despite Azure Window collapse?

Azure Window was one of famous places in the world to visit which appeared in many international movies and media productions. It was the object of travel ads promoting to visit Gozo island – the part of Malta.

Travelers, who travel to Malta, usually come to see Gozo island also. The journey to this island takes less than an hour by ferry. Sadly, Azure Window collapsed in March 2017. The memories of this natural arch are left only in photos. Luckily, it is still worth to visit this place, called Dwejra, for many other reasons. The only way to reach Gozo is through Malta. The fastest way – to fly to Malta International Airport and then to go by bus, taxi or rented car to Ċirkewwa and pass the sea with a ferry to Gozo.
