What happens when your flight is cancelled and you miss your connection? Can I receive the missed connection compensation when my first connecting flight was cancelled?

Last updated on November 6, 2018

If your payment for both connection flight tickets were made by one bank transfer, and you arrived in your final destination more than 3 hours later than it was planned, you can apply and receive cancelled flight missed connection compensation. Sadly, if your payments for both tickets were made separately there are two reference numbers, then your flights are not connecting flights and their disruption must be estimated separately. So, at least one of your flights has to be delayed for more than for 3 hours in order to receive compensation. The best way to claim is to choose the airline claim company from our Best Companies list.
