What happens if I miss my connecting flight due to a delay? What happens if you miss a connecting flight? Can I claim airlines?

Last updated on November 2, 2018

If your payment for both connecting flight tickets was made at once by one bank transfer, and your arrival in your final destination was more than 3 hours later than it was planned, you can get delayed flight missed connection compensation. Unfortunately, if you bought your tickets separately with different reference numbers, your flights are not connecting flights and their disruption must be estimated separately. In this case, at least one of your flights has to be delayed for more than for 3 hours in order to receive compensation. If you want to check the possible amount of your compensation, you should use our Compensation Calculator.
